Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi-starrer Bank Chor has released at the Box Office today and the film is creating a right buzz. Self-confessedly India’s STUPIDEST comic thriller has hit the right chord and is receiving a positive response from the audience. The out-and-out comedy film created a huge buzz among the audience with its unique promotional strategies. The makers of the film not only created back-to-back spoofs on the lead stars of the film but also went overboard by spoofing each and every poster of other films.
Besides promotional strategies, Riteish and Vivek’s comic timings, good sense of humour and creating a mark with every role, is something that can pull the audience to the cinema halls. But could the film hit jackpot on its first day?
Bank Chor has opened to very low occupancy of 5-10%. However, the positive word of mouth is expected to pump up the evening and night shows, which mean Bank Chor can see a decent first day at the Box Office. However, Sunday can be little difficult for the film, as the whole country has geared up to for the big cricket match between India and Pakistan.
Self-confessedly India’s STUPIDEST comic thriller, Bank Chor is directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil. Y-Films’ Bank Chor is a much-delayed project, which was scheduled for an early 2015 release but has finally released in 2017.
On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh starrer Punjabi film Super Singh has opened well and could turn out to be the biggest Punjabi opener ever.
