Box Office: Rockstar one of the biggest openers after Ready in non-festival season

One of the most anticipated films of 2011, Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd and Eros International’s Rockstar has got off to a rollicking start garnering an impressive 11.25 plus crores across All India theatres on its opening day of 11.11.11 based on early estimates of box office figures!

This is Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest opening till date, beating the Friday figures of all his earlier films.  Rockstar has opened to RS 11.25 crores plus across all cinemas in India, also making it the second highest opener after Ready in the non-festival season.

Having released on the once-in-a-lifetime date of 11.11.11, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer directed by Imtiaz Ali has been lauded by critics for its exceptional story and music, and is further expected to gross impressive figures during the weekend.
