Box Office: Six Hindi movies fail to make an impact

MUMBAI: While as many as six movies were released last Friday, none of them managed to make a significant mark at the box office.

The movies that released were Chalo Dilli, Shor In The City, I Am, Men Will Be Men, Naughty @ 40 and Queens! Destiny Of Dance.

The Lara Dutta – Vinay Pathak starrer Chalo Dilli saw the best collections amongst all. The movie collected approximately Rs 30 million (Rs 3 crore) net in its opening weekend. On Friday the movie collected Rs 75 lakhs, while on Saturday the collections jumped to Rs 10 million (Rs 1 crore).

Balaji Motion Pictures’ Shor In The City starring Tusshar Kapoor saw net collections of approximately Rs 17.5 million (Rs 1.75 crore) in its opening weekend.

Other releases namely I Am, Men Will Be Men, Naughty @ 40 and Queens! Destiny Of Dance failed to make a mark at the box office.
