Queen actress Kangana Rananut starrer film Tanu Weds Manu Returns had a very good first day opening. The film succeeded in impressing the audiences and attracting them, as the film opened to a brilliant start at the Box Office. Anand L. Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns grossed Rs. 8.65 crore net ( 86.5 million) approximate on its first day at the Box Office. Being a small budget film and pulling around numbers like these is a good sign for Kangana’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
While the film is running quite amazingly in places like Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore, it received excellent response in the North. The film has received good response from moviegoers and if this continues throughout the weekend and progresses,Tanu Weds Manu Returns could actually turn out to be the first Box Office super hit of this year, 2015. On Friday, the film’s opening rate was 45% to 50% around, which is beyond decent for morning shows, but as the afternoon came, the footfalls increased impressively and the film received occupancy rate of 60%.
Audiences loved the chemistry between Kangana and R. Madhavan. More over, they loved Kangana’s whole new avatar in the film. It’s not wrong to say that the audiences loved the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu more than the original, as the film received excellent positive reactions at the Box Office. Now all the eyes are on Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ Saturday and Sunday collections and if expectations hit the spot right, the film will only see a good growth at the Box Office.
