Since the time ‘Dilwale’ has released, there have been many controversies sparking leading to the protests against the film’s screenings. Earlier in Maharashtra Shiv Sena and MNS were against the film’s screening due to their miff with Shah Rukh Khan over matters of not helping drought hit farmers. Now VHS and Bajrang Dal members are of an opinion that SRK’s comment about intolerance prevailing in the country is unacceptable as the country and people have made him the star he is today.

VHP leaders further stated that now they want to show the real intolerance to the actor and that the protest is not because Mr. Khan is a Muslim; but against his statement on intolerance. The same reaction was received by Aamir Khan who dared to speak his mind freely and now Shah Rukh Khan is facing the wrath of angry protesters for his statement. Unfortunately SRK’s comment comes on the wrong timing as his film Dilwale is facing the backlash now.

‘Dilwale’ collections have been affected a lot due to these protests especially with the ongoing clash with ‘Bajirao Mastani‘. Both the films cannot afford to lose any more business than they already have due to the competition. VHP and Bajrang Dal members have further made it clear that it cannot be said when the protests will end and the film will start screening. We wonder what Shah Rukh Khan will do about this?[/tps_footer]
