Eros International Signs Collaboration With Chinese Film Corporation In Shanghai

India’s leading production house Eros International has announced key collaborations with leading Chinese film entities in Shanghai in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Through which the production house has grabbed deals with Chinese film companies under the Indo-China film treaty signed in September 2014.

A recent announcement was made regarding an upcoming film under this agreement where China’s state production company Chinese Film Corporation and Eros International have joined hands for Monk Xuang Zang. Based on the real life story of Monk Xuang Zang, the film shows how the noble one spread the culture of Buddhism from India to China.

The Indo-China film treaty has been made for the betterment of the equations both the countries share. With vast culture and rich and varied heritage of both the nationalities, the treaty will strengthen the bond between India and China in the entertainment sector as well.

Earlier it was also announced that Jackie Chan’s upcoming film Kungfu Yoga will be shot in India under the India-China coproduction agreement. For which India’s Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and China’s Taihe Entertainment Corporation and Shinework Media have come together. The last movie done by Jackie Chan with an Indian actor was The Myth starring Mallika Sherawat. Recent news also suggested that actor Aamir Khan will be featuring in the film. Chan had earlier stated in an interview that the film might go on rolls this autumn.
