MUMBAI: The family that travels together, stays together. Bollywood power couple Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sure know the value of this adage, for they’re frequently seen notching up the air miles at airports across the country, always with the family firmly in tow.
Abhishek and Aishwarya’s little bundle of joy, Aaradhya Bachchan has just as frequently taken to accompanying her mommy and daddy dearest whenever they travel out of town. Sighted at Mumbai airport, the Bachchan trio cut a perfect family picture.
Abhishek and Aishwarya were spotted returning from London, where they were taking a short holiday. While there, they also attended the charity concert ‘Chime for Change’, which saw the likes of Madonna, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez perform (SEE STORY HERE)
And while in London, Aishwarya reportedly sacrificed a meeting with Hollywood legend Al Pacino, so she could spend more time with her infant daughter Aaradhya. Abhishek attended the dinner date, while Ash stayed home looking after the baby.
Revealed a source: “Her mother (Vrinda) was leaving for India on the same day. And since there was no one else to look after Aaradhya, Aishwarya decided to back out of the meeting.”
The source added that Ash also wanted to spend quality time with her mother Vrinda Rai. “Over the past few weeks, Aishwarya has been constantly travelling across the globe. So, she wanted to spend as much time as possible with her mom. But the biggest reason was that she didn’t want to leave Aaradhya.”
