Christina Aguilera, an American recording artist and actress who shot to fame with her self-titled debut album in 1999, which spawned three US number one singles announced that she is expecting a baby days after she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Matthew Rutler.
Christina will be going through the familiar journey of pregnancy once again. A source tells us that The Voice judge is expecting the second time around. The blond beauty is already a mother to Max Liron, aged six, her son with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
On Valentine’s Day, Xtina revealed that she and Matthew Rutler are taking their relationship to the next level by writing on Twitter, “He asked and I said” and included a sweet photo of her hand flaunting a gigantic diamond ring as she holds his hand with the beautiful beach scenery behind them.
The couple, who met on the set of Xtina‘s 2010 film Burlesque, where Rutler was working as a production assistant, have been together for three years.
Aguilera has yet to comment on the pregnancy news, and although she’s fairly private about her personal life, the mom-of-one couldn’t help but praise her little boy back in November 2010. Shortly after her divorce news broke, the celeb gushed about her son Max to Ellen DeGeneres.
“He’s the love of my life, and I adore him. He’s such a character, and he’s so happy and at the end of the day, that’s what’s most important,” she said.
Christina Aguilera and Matthew Rutler have been living together in the Grammy-winning vocalist’s new Mulholland Estates mansion in Los Angeles, which she bought in April 2013 for $10 million.
Christina was recently in the news when she recorded with Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarinom the guys from A Great Big World. “Recording with Christina Aguilera was a huge, surreal experience because she’s Christina Aguilera. I felt like we both grew, like, tremendously after that.” Chad stated post the recording.
