Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood Debut Baywatch Postponed Because Of This Reason!

Baywatch, Dwayne JohnsonPriyanka Chopra starrer action-comedy, has a new release date. Paramount Pictures has pushed the release date from May 19, 2017 to May 26, 2017 and it will now be screened at the start of the Memorial Day (USA holiday) weekend.

This was done to give it an opening weekend with less stiff competition. Instead of facing off against a host of sequels – Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, Alien: Covenant, The Nut Job 2, and Annabelle 2. Now Seth Gordon directorial action comedy will battle just one. It is the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Dead Men Tell No Tales, a science-fiction film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds.

Zac Efron, Alexandra Deddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Jon Bass, and Ilfenesh Hadera are all among the other film’s star cast, and they will be responsible for carrying the baton of slow-motion running, dealing with complicated relationships, and saving the day.

The raunchy, R-rated comedy, which is a loosely based on the iconic ’90s television series Baywatch marks the debut of Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra in Hollywood.
