Bacardi, MySpace offer ‘Dream Gig’ in Miami

Mumbai: MySpace.com, the internet’s premier social networking site, has teamed up with Bacardi to offer one exceptional DJ the experience of a lifetime. That is, the chance to open for Bacardi B-LIVE when the innovative global concert series lands at the Bayfront Amphitheater in downtown Miami, 19 April.
 
Open to entrants 25 years of age or older, interested DJs can learn more and enter online at http://www.myspace.com/blivemiami. Judged on video or music file submission, the grand prize winner will take the stage as the opening act of the concert and will play for up to 60 minutes. Included in the package is round-trip airfare to Miami and hotel accommodations for three nights, plus VIP access to the event and after-party.
A 25-country global program of music events, Bacardi B-LIVE showcases
both international and emerging artists, providing them with the opportunity to collaborate and deliver rousing audio and visual experiences designed to promote spontaneity through audience participation.
 
In addition to delivering original and provocative musical talent, Bacardi B-LIVE will benefit the city of Miami by supporting a local and national organization for the arts to be announced at a later date.
