Brad Pitt, George Clooney to team up again

MUMBAI: Brad Pitt and his Ocean’s Thirteen co-star George Clooney have agreed to team up again in the Coen brothers’ film Burn After Reading, making it their third film together.

www.Hollywood.tv founder Sheeraz Hasan says the film is a black comedy that tells the story of a CIA agent who loses the disc of the book he is writing and will also star Academy Award winner Frances McDormand.

The screenplay has been penned by Joel and Ethan Coen and the shooting for the film will begin by August, with Joel Coen directing, says Hasan.

While Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title will produce the film together with the Coens, Focus Features will handle the worldwide distribution, says Hasan.

With Ocean’s Thirteen set to screen at the Festival de Cannes next month, Pitt has just finished working on Warner Bros Pictures’ The Assassination of Jesse James, while Clooney is currently directing Leatherheads, a romantic comedy set in the world of 1920s football, where the owner (played by Clooney) of a professional team drafts a straight-laced college sensation (played by John Krasinski), only to watch his new coach fall for his fiancée (played by Renee Zellweger).
