Dreamworks, Mattel launch Kung Fu Panda free 3D online game

Mumbai: Mattel has collaborated with Dreamworks Animation to create an online experience on the hero from the wildly popular Kung Fu Panda film.

Po’s Kung Fu Challenge is a free 3D online game that can be downloaded after registering and creating an account on the Kung Fu Panda community site. Created and developed by the veteran casual game team of Curious Oranj and Manifest Games, this experience combines elements of traditional trading cards and multiplayer combat by allowing players to collect and battle each other with kung fu moves from various styles.

You can play community flash games or battle your friends to rack up Panda points or can collect Panda points to spend on fighting moves for your Dragon Warrior Deck and cool accessories. You can also customize your panda warrior with different fur colors, face patterns, and loads of clothes and train with each of the Furious Five characters to gain new Fighting moves.

There is also a provision to battle your friends online and compete on the Dragon Warrior Leaderboard, fight in different movie locations and listen to Po narrate your battles with unique dialogue recorded by Jack Black especially for the game.

Additionally, on 15 August, Dreamworks will launch the Tai Lung Showdown. Any player fighting online battles, who has unlocked three or more trainers, will have a random chance to fight Tai Lung in an all out battle within the fabled Jade Palace. Victory over Tai Lung rewards the player with exclusive new accessories.
