Epix and Roadside Attractions ink output deal for 22 films

MUMBAI: Epix will carry up to 22 Roadside Attractions films slated for theatrical release in 2009, 2010 and 2011 across its linear channel,
subscription on demand and www.epixhd.com services as part of an exclusive output agreement.

The announcement was made today by Mark Greenberg, president and CEO, Epix, and Howard Cohen, co-president of Roadside Attractions.

Epix president and CEO Mark Greenberg said, "Roadside is an ideal partner for Epix, with a reputation as a leading independent film
distributor delivering award-winning movies. Roadside’s films add depth to what is already one of the most robust movie libraries in the
premium movie service, with titles from Paramount, MGM, Lionsgate and Samuel Goldwyn Films. Movies matter, which is why Epix delivers
entertainment to consumers on demand, on TV, online and on mobile devices – anytime, anywhere."

Roadside Attractions co-president Howard Cohen added, "We here at Roadside are thrilled to be partnering with Epix and feel that this
arrangement further cements Roadside as a top-tier theatrical distributor. At a time of great contraction in the indie world, having
this guaranteed outlet for our films across multiple platforms, I believe, will make Roadside an even more attractive home for
filmmakers. Epix is a forward-thinking company that is positioning itself to be at the forefront of the next generation of broadcasting,
and we are excited to be part of that evolution."

Epix is slated to carry at least three of Roadside’s 2009 titles including From Mexico With Love, The Cove and Battle For Terra.

Roadside’s upcoming films include the Demi Moore, Parker Posey starrer Happy Tears, which premiered in this year’s Berlin Film Festival. The movie will open theatrically in the first quarter of 2010. Remaining titles in Roadside’s 2010 and 2011 line-up will be announced shortly.
