MUMBAI: This year, the Festival de Cannes’ official website is changing its image and style to fully reflect the diversity and energy of the event.
The new website has navigation that’s as instinctive as it is quick to react, editorial content that meets the needs of festival-goers, film lovers and industry pros, and a profusion of images and videos to illustrate the information on offer.
The official poster of the 62nd Festival de Cannes that is inspired by a photogram of l’Avventura (1960), the timeless masterpiece of Michelangelo Antonioni, has also been unveiled on the website.
The poster was created by Annick Durban. She has created a complete scenography for the Festival, from its publications to the decor inside the Palais that will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
The Official Selection of the Festival de Cannes 2009, as announced during the press conference, will be available on the website from 23 April.
