Gloria Estefan named icon at BMI Latin Music Awards

MUMBAI: Leading US performing right organization Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) held its 16th annual Latin Music Awards in Palm Beach, Florida.

Gloria Estefan was named a BMI Icon; singer/songwriter Espinoza Paz earned his second consecutive Latin songwriter of the year; “A Ti Si Puedo Decirte” garnered song of the year honors for writer Javier Sanroman and publisher Siempre Music; and Editora Arpa Musical received the Latin Publisher of the Year crown.
