IMAX appoints Northstar Media as exclusive representative

Mumbai: IMAX Corporation, one of the world’s leading digital entertainment and technology companies, and television program distribution company Northstar Media, announced that the two companies have partnered on a distribution arrangement whereby Northstar Media has been appointed exclusive representative for the IMAX XXI Film Package consisting of 21 award-winning high-def IMAX(R) films including some key titles like Walking on the Moon 3D, Space Station, Into the Deep and T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous and Blue Planet.
 
Under the terms of the agreement, Northstar Media will have the worldwide television, VOD, mobile, and broadband rights to this package marking the first time that all 21 titles have been available for these outlets. The announcement was made jointly by IMAX Corporation chairman and president, filmed entertainment Greg Foster and Northstar Media co-president Andy Weir.
