Ireland has recently become a popular filming spot with its scenic locations and tax benefits for Indian producers. Indian producers are sourcing locations there as settings for musical films.

Tourism Ireland spokeswoman Fiona Scott said tourists were coming from far-flung markets such as Shanghai and Mumbai as a result of exposure from the popular Indian movies. ‘‘Scenic places like Kashmir were always favored locations for Bollywood producers.” said Scott. ‘‘Ireland is another great alternative location with additional advantages like tax breaks for the film industry and a great choice of beautiful landscapes.”
