MUMBAI: Janet Jackson will be paying a music tribute to her late brother – The King of Pop Michael Jackson, at the MTV Video Music Awards on 13 September.
Janet will help open the entire show to honor Michael’s celebrated career.
Janet will honor her brother in a special appearance that will a look back over his life and career – a career, which also helped attract viewers to MTV when the network was in its formative years.
Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Green Day, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and Wale are also slated to perform at the Video Music Awards. The awards will be hosted by Russell Brand and presenters include Katy Perry and Nelly Furtado.
