Julie Bertucelli’s The Tree is Closing Night film of Cannes Film Festival

MUMBAI: Julie Bertucelli’s film The Tree has been chosen as the closing night film of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival.

 

The  movie stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Marton Csokas and Aden Young. Shot in Australia, the film is an adaptation of Judy Pascoe’s novel, Our Father Who Art in the Tree.

 

The film will be screened on 23 May after the Award ceremony, presided by the American filmmaker Tim Burton, is over.

 

The Festival de Cannes opens on 12 May with Robin Hood, by Ridley Scott.
