MUMBAI: MatrixStream partners with Mytvpal.com, will be launching the first true high definition cinematic internet streaming service with 5.1 surround sound. Currently, most internet video sites utilize plug-in web technology which only supports 2-channel stereo – a standard no longer in favor with most audience viewers who are now accustomed to the home theater experience.
By using the latest MatrixStream MatrixCast streaming engine, users can now view video in full HD 1080p video with 5.1 surround sound on a PC or television via MatrixStream’s MX 1 set top box. Moreover, the MatrixCast streaming engine displays HD video in native 1080p at 24p frame rate which is the near equivalent to film standards, giving the most realistic digital cinematic experience available. Users only need a minimum of 3Mbps to view HD 1080p stream, making MatrixStream’s IPTV solution viable to tens of millions broadband subscribers world wide.
