Michael Jackson tribute concert re-scheduled for 2010

MUMBAI: The tribute concert for Michael Jackson set to take place in Vienna on 26 September, 2009 has been rescheduled for London in June 2010.

The event was organised by Jackson’s brother Jermaine but had to be cancelled as a number of stars were not able to change their schedules to make a live appearance at the Vienna event possible.

The concert was to take place at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna and it was reported that an audience of 65,000 would attend, with as many as one billion watching a live broadcast of the show.

The event will now take place just a few weeks before the first death anniversary of Michael.
