MUMBAI: MovieTickets.com, the nternet movie ticketing service provider, has entered into a partnership with Starplex Cinemas, a Dallas-based theater chain operating 23 theaters and 216 screens nationwide.
MovieTickets.com, executive vice president and general manager, Joel Cohen said, “The addition of Starplex Cinemas to our roster of partner theaters is highly beneficial for both parties. It aligns us with a theater chain that boasts a solid reputation in the many regions it serves, as well as an ambitious long-term growth plan. In turn, MovieTickets.com will now offer Starplex Cinemas greater visibility and reach thanks to our robust affiliate program.”
At present, Starplex Cinemas operates theater locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Washington. Future locations in Tennessee, Delaware and Illinois are planned for 2008. The Starplex chain is known for customer service; creative, consumer-centric contests and promotions; and community involvement.
