LOS ANGELES: After bagging away the Oscar for Best Actress for her acclaimed performance as an obsessed ballerina in ‘Black Swan’, Natalie Portman will next produce and star in a movie called ‘Jane Got a Gun’.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, ‘Jane Got a Gun’ is written by Brian Duffield. It is a story of woman whose outlaw husband returns home alive despite being riddled with bullet wounds. When her husband’s gang hunts him down to finish their business, the woman is forced to reach out to an ex-lover and ask if he will help defend her farm. The film is set to be directed by Lynne Ramsay.
Currently, Portman is busy with her role as Jane Foster in ‘Thor 2’.
