Rentrak signs multi-year contract extension with SiTV

MUMBAI: Rentrak Corporation has signed a long-term contract extension for SiTV.

A TV Essentials subscriber since 2009, SiTV will be launching as nuvoTV 4 July and is the first and only English-language television network for bi-cultural Latinos with a programming slate that consists of unique, high quality original content across all platforms (TV, online, VOD, mobile).

"Not only has Rentrak provided our network invaluable granular insights into our viewership, the stability of the data has allowed SiTV the predictability of performance that has allowed us to make executive business decisions for programming, promotion and ad sales delivery," said SiTV senior vice president of marketing Rafe Oller.

SiTV is able to access viewership information as a result of Rentrak’s set-top-box database approach for precise and timely measurement. No other system provides integrated cable, satellite and telco data from all 210 media markets.

"Rentrak’s TV Essentials provides daily reporting to validate the popularity and influence of SiTV which is especially crucial as the industry prepares for Upfront season," said Rentrak senior vice president of national network sales, Advanced Media and Information (AMI) division Carol Hinnant.

Rentrak’s TV Essentials is the television ratings database currency that provides daily measurement of all networks at a granular level in all 210 media markets nationwide. The service incorporates data from over 17 million televisions and is the only fully-integrated system of detailed satellite, telco and cable TV viewing data commercially available.
