Sony Pictures acquires domestic media rights for Blood: The Last Vampire

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group (SPWAG) has picked up domestic media rights for East Wing Holdings Corp. and SAJ’s Blood: The Last Vampire.

Samuel Goldwyn Films will release the feature film Blood: The Last Vampire in theatres this summer.

The movie is directed by Chris Nahon and stars Gianna, Koyuki, Michael Byrne, Colin Salmon and Allison Miller. The film features stunt choreographed by Cory Yuen and is produced by East Wing’s Bill Kong and Abel Nahmias, with screenplay by Chris Chow.

SPWAG senior executive vice president and general manager Adrian Alperovich says, "We are thrilled to extend our long-standing relationship with Producer Bill Kong and our partners at Samuel Goldwyn. This film will absolutely blow audiences away."

"We had a great collaboration with Sony Pictures in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and we feel so excited to work with them again. Blood: the Last Vampire is action-packed and powerful, and we can’t wait to show this movie to audiences over the world," remarked Kong.
