Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announces 2010 mobile games lineup

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) announced a slate of new mobile games to be released in the coming year. The portfolio of games includes titles scheduled for worldwide release through September 2010.

“SPHE’s lineup is designed to provide our mobile partners with a wide variety of high-quality titles that will satisfy the diverse tastes of mobile gamers,” said SPHE vice president  Worldwide Mobile Entertainment Kara Bilkiss . “From titles based on popular game show franchises to Sony feature films, our slate delivers first-rate mobile entertainment to the most popular wireless devices.”

The newly-announced titles include James Bond: 007 mobile game, with details forthcoming, as well Wheel of Fortune (February), JEOPARDY! (March), The Three Stooges (May), The Karate Kid (June), Salt (July) and The Joker’s Wild (September)  

These titles join SPHE’s  roster of currently-available and previously-announced titles, including games based on 007: Quantum of Solace, Angels & Demons, 2012 and Zombieland as well as other titles such as Q*Bert (iPhone), Voltron (iPhone), 007: Top Agent (iPhone) and Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Challenge.

Unless otherwise specified, all SPHE mobile games are available on Android, Blackberry, BREW, J2ME, iPhone, Palm and Windows Mobile devices.
