Mumbai: Star announced the appointment of Cindy Chang as Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales and Distribution for Star Taiwan. Officially coming on board on 1 December 2008, Chang will oversee Star’s advertising sales and distribution activities in Taiwan, reporting to Star Taiwan CEO Daniel Cheung.
Chang joins Star from Aegis Media Group, where she has served as Executive Vice President since 2005, responsible for media buying, negotiation and media operations. Between 1994 and 2005, Chang worked at Star Taiwan, first as a Media Manager, and then as a Vice President of Advertising Sales, leading the advertising sales team in Taiwan.
Commenting on the new appointment, Cheung said, “We are thrilled to welcome Cindy back to the Star Taiwan team. Her in-depth understanding of the Taiwan media market as well as her outstanding leadership skills will bring enormous opportunities for us as we embark on a path towards our next level of growth.”
