LOS ANGELES: Kellan Lutz, who rose to fame after playing Emmet Cullen in the famous vampire film franchise, has been roped in to play the titular character in upcoming movie ‘Tarzan’ 3D.
The 27-year-old will star opposite Spencer Locker, who will play Jane Porter, reported Aceshowbiz. The new "Tarzan" movie, is developed at Constantin Film. Similar to any other versions of the vine-swinging jungle man, the story follows Jane who meets and teams up with Tarzan to defeat mercenary army. The film will be directed by Reinhard Klooss and Holger Tappe. Yoni Brenner and Jessica Postigo provide the script, which is inspired by Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic story.
