MUMBAI: Universal Music Enterprises (UME), has promoted Steve Wengert to senior vice president sales.
In his new role, Wengert will be responsible for all aspects of physical and digital sales for UMe and Verve Music Group.
UMe general manager and executive vice president Mike Davis said, “Steve is a well rounded executive who has done an outstanding job managing the dynamic digital, mobile and physical music market place. Steve is a great asset to UMe and this promotion is well deserved.”
Most recently, Wengert was vice president of sales for UMe. Prior to joining UMe, he worked in the sales department of Interscope Geffen A&M and for UMGD in various positions.
