Universal Music Publishing Group ups Brian Lambert

MUMBAI: Universal Music Publishing Group has promoted Brian Lambert to executive vice president and head of film & television music.

Lambert will report directly to Universal Music Publishing Group president North America Evan Lamberg.

"Brian Lambert is one of the most prominent creative executives, and leaders, within the Film & TV industry and continues to drive success for Universal Music Publishing. He and his staff are the best in the business and this is a very well deserved promotion," said Lamberg.

The synchronization business is an increasingly vital part of our revenue and we pride ourselves on bringing these opportunities to our (UMPG’s) amazing artists, writers and catalogs. I truly look forward to working closely with Evan Lamberg as we move into the next phase of UMPG," said Lambert.

Reporting into Lambert will be the U.S. Film & TV Creative, Licensing, and Clearance teams.

Prior to joining Universal, Lambert spent a collective six years as Vice President of Advertising, Film & Television Music for Zomba Music Publishing/Jive Records and BMG Music Publishing respectively.
