Universal Records appoints Buenahora as VP

MUMBAI: Universal Records South has appointed Arthur Buenahora, Jr. to Vice President of A&R. This was announced by Universal Records South president Mark Wright. Buenahora will report directly to Wright effective immediately.

“We are so excited to add Arthur to our A&R team at Universal Records South,” said Wright. “With his ability to recognize the potential in new, up and coming artists, we will remain on the front line of getting involved early in a young artist’s career. His past publishing experience will also benefit artists already on the roster.”

“I am thrilled to be joining Mark and Fletcher along with the team they have assembled at Universal Records South,” added Buenahora, ” This is an amazing opportunity for me and I look forward to contributing to building a label that will be the first choice for anyone in country music.
