VideoForEver, Sonic to incorporate copy protection into DVD on Demand

MUMBAI: VideoForEver has signed an agreement aimed at protecting content on the VideoForEver platform’s On Demand DVDs by Content Scrambling System (CSS), using the Sonic Solutions company’s Qflix solution.

This type of protection is designed to make it impossible to copy a Video DVD, by adding a digital lock.

With this, the VideoForEver DVD on Demand platform meets the demands of many cinema and television industry professionals.

VideoForever DVD on Demand platform produces over 20,000 DVDs on Demand per month.

VideoForever has 700 retail outlets, with companies such as Carrefour, Cora, France Loisirs and Phox. It has 500,000 films and three million slides digitised.
