Warner Bros. animation president resigns

Mumbai: Head of Warner Bros. Lisa Judson has stepped down from her post. She served the position for only ten months.

According to Daily Variety, she has opted to return to New York after relocating to Los Angeles to take on the job. With her departure, Warner Bros. Television president Peter Roth will assume responsibility for all non-feature animation, including the upcoming Cartoon network series The Brave and the Bold.

In addition to animated television shows, Roth will oversee Warner Bros. Animation’s straight-to-DVD and online/new media projects starting 1 June. He will also have a hand in creating live-action series based on the studio’s animated properties. His experience in children’s television goes back to an exec stint at ABC that spanned the mid-1970s and mid-80s.
