Warner Music Group inks partnership with mobile entertainment company Myxer

MUMBAI: Warner Music Group (WMG) has entered into a partnership with mobile entertainment company Myxer.

 

WMG will promote its catalog of mobile content including full-length tracks, music videos, images, and ringtones to the more than 34 million music fans within the Myxer community. The agreement covers the US and Canada.

 

Additionally, WMG’s artists will have access to Myxer’s MobileStage customizable mobile website solution, complete with fan-list management features, advanced data analytics, messaging, and other marketing opportunities which help artists and record labels better connect with fans. As part of the WMG channel launch on MobileStage, a number of artists including B.o.B, Flo Rida, Iyaz, Jason Derulo, Paramore, Sean Paul and Trey Songz will offer an exclusive gift of a mobile wallpaper with the purchase of a ringtone.

 

WMG’s U.S. sales and retail marketing company WEA’s senior vice president, digital sales and marketing Larry Mattera said, “Myxer is one of the leading mobile destinations and their MobileStage platform provides impressive tools for us to better customize a compelling digital music experience for our artists’ fans.”
