Westend Films acquires international rights of Woody Allen films

MUMBAI: London-based sales outfit WestEnd Films has secured exclusive international rights to several strong films by legendary director Woody Allen. The titles include some of the director’s most acclaimed works.

The films include Everyone Says I Love You, Sweet And Lowdown, Deconstructing Harry, Small Time Crooks and Celebrity among others, as well as Oscar-winning titles such as Mighty Aphrodite and Bullets Over Broadway.

The newly acquired films strengthen WestEnd’s position and complement a steadily growing line up of quality films.

“We founded WestEnd in 2008, without a library. We decided it would make sense to apply our theatrical model to building a selective catalogue of timeless titles which truly have value in the ancillary markets,” said WestEnd managing director Eve Schoukroun.

“Having worked on Woody Allen pictures previously, we are delighted to be representing such iconic titles. This is a great addition to our current slate of chosen and quality projects,” adds WestEnd co-founder and managing director Maya Amsellem.
