Mumbai: Percept Picture Company and T-Series unveiled the music of their upcoming co production by hosting a live concert on Wednesday evening.
The music of the film is rendered by duo Salim and Suleman Merchant. Giving live performances to songs from the film were singers Shankar Mahadevan, Mohit Chauhan, Shafaqat Amanat Ali, Zubin Garg. Actor John Abraham sang along with the singers to the song Ab hai ujala. The musical evening celebrated the theme and spirit of Aashayein.
Aashayein is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. It also stars Sonal Sehgal, Farida Jalal, Girish Karnad. The music is available on T-Series.
The movie is slated for release on 20 June.
