Akshay Kumar collaborates with Ludacris for Breakaway

MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar has collaborated with the Grammy Award winning American rap artist Chris “Ludacris” Bridges for his forthcoming movie Breakaway.

The movie, which is scheduled to release on 30 September, 2011, is directed by Robert Lieberman and is produced by Kumar. It stars Rob Lowe, Russell Peters and Camilla Belle.
 
After working with international music sensations Snoop Dogg for the title track Singh is Kinng and Kylie Minogue for Chiggy Wiggy for the film Blue, Kumar has now collaborated with Ludacris for the track Shera Di Khom in Breakaway. Aubrey “Drake” Graham also renders a song for the film.
 
Co-produced by Kumar’s banner Hari Om Entertainment, Breakaway is a cross-cultural hockey drama set in the Indo-Canadian community of suburban Toronto, Canada.
