B4U Music to focus on AR Rahman’s Best Hits

MUMBAI: Even as AR Rahman heads to Los Angeles for the Oscars, B4U Music has dedicated an entire fortnight to the musical genius’ hit songs.

Awards and Rahman have become synonymous and he is also the first Indian to win the Golden Globe for his score in Slumdog Millionaire. He has also been awarded the BAFTA Award for best musical composition for the same film. The film has also bagged 10 nominations at the Oscars scheduled on 22 February, where Rahman is also a strong contender for it.

Starting from 16 February to 1 March, 2009, B4U Music will be creating a special programme called AR Rahman Best Hits through the day. The programme has an array of versatile compositions by Rahman from the latest blockbusters such as Delhi 6, Ghajini, Slumdog Millionaire, Yuvraaj and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
