Bharadwaj turns music director with Tanhaai

MUMBAI: Lyricist Praveen Bharadwaj has turned music director with Venus Record and Tapes’ romantic album Tanhaai.

The album has eight original tracks and one remix track, penned by Praveen Bharadwaj himself. The songs have been rendered by 18 year old debutant Sumit Paul, and wellknown singer Mahalakshmi.

Bharadwaj, who has penned lyrics for more then 75 Hindi films in six years, says, “Music direction was a natural extension for me. My first film Vash as music director is also ready for release.”

Bharadwaj started his career with the song “Kem Che…”, in Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai. He has written the lyrics for albums like Hasrat, Tera Mera Pyar and Bewafaai.
