Mumbai: Big 92.7 FM conducted the first semi finals of the largest talent hunt on radio Big Singaara Singer. The audition was conducted in the presence of eminent personalities like music director Vijay Anthony, playback singers Rahul Nambiar and Krish who were also the judges at Abhirami Mega Mall.
After the on-air preliminary rounds, around 30 contestants were short listed for the on-ground semi final. There will be two on-ground semi final rounds to be conducted to identify two aspiring, golden voices of Chennai and will gratify them by giving them an opportunity as playback singers in a forthcoming Kollywood movie.
The contest will culminate on 17 May with two winners being announced. The winners will be featured as playback singers by famous music director Vijay Anthony in his forthcoming movie. Dhapne Kumaraswamy from Royapuram and R. Srinivasan from Selaiyur were announced as the winners of the first round of the contest.
