BSNL launches mobile radio

MUMBAI: BSNL, in its endeavor to improve its offerings on value added services (VAS), has now launched a subscription based service for its mobile subscribers with OnMobile, where subscribers can pay a fixed amount and enjoy the services at a very low usage charge of Re 1 per cent minute as against the usual premium charges of Rs 5.


 


In these services BSNL has launched the Mobile radio service on subscription for Rs 25 per month on an auto renewal basis, through which subscribers can enjoy the Mobile Radio application and listen to songs/music in just Re 1 per minute by dialing 1255533.


 


BSNL had already launched the subscription based services for the Cricket packs, starting from the World Cup series in March 2007 at Rs 49 providing subscribers free SMS score alerts and a low charge call in number 1255531 on which subscribers can listen to live commentary at Re 1 per minute.
