Hit FM to broadcast Live Earth

MUMBAI: Live Earth a 24-hour, seven-continent concert series taking place today (7/7/07) that will bring together more than 100 music artists and two billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis.


Hit 95 FM has promoted Live Earth through a specially made TVC running on National Geographic, The History Channel and VH1. Hit 95 FM highlights the need to combat climate in crisis through specialized content developed for Live Earth in the form of interstitials, facts, concert promos, artiste promos, artist countdown promo and with listener interaction.


Live Earth will reach audience through a global media architecture covering all media platforms – TV, radio, Internet and wireless channels.


Live Earth marks the beginning of a multi-year campaign led by the Alliance for Climate Protection, The Climate Group and other international organizations to drive individuals, corporations and governments to take action to solve global warming. Former US vice president Al Gore is the chair of the Alliance and Partner of Live Earth.


Live Earth will be transmitted in Delhi and NCR on Hit 95 FM starting on 7 and 8 July 2007 uninterrupted with content coming in from worldwide eight cities (New York, London, Johannesburg, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, and Hamburg).


Maruti has partnered Hit 95 FM in presenting Live Earth, associated by Bru Cappuccino, Tata Sky and National Geographic Channel to use the reach of music in Delhi and NCR to engage people on a mass scale to combat our climate crisis.
