Isha Koppikar flags off BIG FM RJ Rohit’s live on-air marathon

MUMBAI: Celebrating the spirit of ‘Radio Olympiad’, radio’s first-ever Olympiad on BIG 92.7 FM, RJ Rohit kick-started the Live on-air marathon from a BIG FM mobile studio, an attempt to achieve the challenge of non-stop RJing for 105 hours.

This event with RJ Rohit was flagged-off by Isha Koppikar. RJ Rohit’s feat of attempting the Limca Records of 105 hours will come to an end on 25 August, 2008.

Mumbai will witness the event as RJ Rohit goes Live on-air from five different locations in Mumbai across all five days.

The on-air marathon will have RJ Rohit talk about the need to opt for eco-friendly Ganesh idols and how every Mumbaikar should come forward to support and sensitize such a cause for a cleaner / greener environment. Also, during the on-air marathon, there will be conversations with celebrities, friends and fans.

Rohit said, "I am excited and nervous, both at the same time. It is great that I and my radio station listeners will be together through the days and nights keeping each other company (laughs). I know the wishes of Mumbaikars are with me and I am all geared to complete the marathon. It is all the more challenging for me because I will be urging every Mumbaikar to support a cause, through this on-air marathon."
