MUMBAI: Veteran scriptwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar has rendered a song for a children’s video album titled Hip Hip Hurray, which has been produced by Kirit Shah.
Says Shah, “I am delighted that Javed saab is a part of this children’s album. He has penned eight songs with each one telling a childhood fairy tale. He has lent his voice for one number – Kheera aur Beera – which is in the form of a verse. The other songs are rendered by Shaan and Kavita Krishnamurthy. Nishith Mehta has provided the music score. Rajesh Chakraborty has directed the video and has added 3-D animation to add to the fantasy element.”
