MUMBAI: Music director Anu Malik has a dozen films in the pipeline. The music director has been flooded with offers after giving hits like No Entry, Kalyug and Jaan-e-Man.
Malik has signed films with Pritish Nandy Communications, Venus (to be directed by Sanjay Chel) and with Adlabs amongst others.
Says Malik, “Fortunately there are good offers coming my way. I am very kicked about doing these projects. I am very fond of Manmohan Shetty and I am glad I am doing another project with him. Apart from that, I will be composing music for Satish Kaushik’s next film and also J P Dutta.”
His daughter makes her singing debut with Satish Kaushik’s Tere Sang and has crooned all the songs. Says Malik, “Anmol has made me very happy. I am looking forward to work with her and Satishji has something for us.”
In this age of deals, Malik too has been approached by corporate houses. He reluctantly admits, “Yes, I have been offered a seven – film deal, but I haven’t yet decided on whether I will be taking it up or not.”
Currently the composer is working on Shakti Films’ next and has roped in eliminated Indian Idol contestants to record one song for the film.
