Radio City spices up weekend programming

MUMBAI: Radio City 91.1 FM is redefining weekend radio entertainment with a diverse array of fresh, exciting new shows and daily features. Coupled with melodious adult contemporary music, the FM station now brings a wholesome mix of humour, romance, showbiz and Bollywood through seven new shows giving listeners more reasons than one to tune into fun weekends only on Radio City 91.1FM.

The Saturday line-up sees Radio City welcoming India’s favourite Jaat, Udham Singh on the Udham Singh Show for a refreshing dose of the nation’s favourite brand of unrestrained, no-holds-barred Haryanvi humour. The Great Indian Countdown will give listeners a weekly recap of the top 20 melodious hits while Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar is a breezy new show with a fresh, free-spirited take on life and romance.
 
Making Sundays a truly relaxing day, Radio City introduces four new shows with Parde ke Peeche – Weekend Special, an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes on the glamour, grapevine and gossip from the entertainment world. City Talkies will showcase one Indian cult film at a time with snippets and trivia on everything there is to know about unforgettable celluloid superhits. Theme No. 91.1 will have listeners grooving to melodious songs from evergreen Bollywood themes with while Rollywood Presents brings an uproarious fun spoof on Bollywood releases.

Weekdays on Radio City get spicier too with new daily in-show features starting with the 11 Baje Ka Flashback on City Spice where Radio City takes its listeners down memory lane with a top ten countdown of all time retro hits one year at a time. Dil Vil Pyaar Vyaar on City Spice and Hum Tum will play three love songs back-to-back. Radio City’s evening drive time show, Joyride introduces an hour long segment Call a Tune where listeners can request for a song of their choice to be played LIVE on-air Radio City 91.1FM.
