Mumbai: After generating buzz in Ranchi, Radio Dhoom has been launched in Jamshedpur in keeping with its plan to expand in the two most affluent cities of Jharkhand. The channel combines a programme mix that caters to a highly engaged audience of Jharkhand. Radio Dhoom relies on its creative content to rise above the noise, an official statement said.
Announcing the launch, Neutral Publishing House Ltd. group vice president (Prabhat Khabar) K K Goenka said, "We are delighted to announce that after great success of Radio Dhoom in Ranchi, now it will beam into thousands of people of Jamshedpur. Radio Dhoom is targeted specifically towards the youth and their lifestyle trends. Jamshedpur is more cosmopolitan having discos and other happening places but our strategy will be different and we will be promoting regional songs along with the usual hindi chartbusters."
A morning programme called Salam Jamshedpur wil highlight the achievements of people of the city. Kya Cool Hain Hum will focus on the unfulfilled promises of the Government. Yeh Hai Jamshedpur Meri Jaan is about the developments in the city such as a new mall, fashion trends or the latest gadgets used by the youth. Dil, Dosti, Love Junction is where one can catch the latest blockbuster hindi movie songs.
Launched with the tagline Tension Nahi Lene Ka now its time for Jamshedpur to get ready to tune to a tension free zone with Radio Dhoom 104.8 FM.
