MUMBAI: Red FM Delhi has announced the winners for its Flat Kar De Contest where listeners had to tune in to 93.5 Red FM to win cash prizes starting from Rs. 935 to Rs. 93,500 or to win a grand prize—a 2 BHK flat at Paramount Group’s Crossing Republic on NH24.
Red FM had around four lakh listeners participating in the content that lasted 10 December to 31 December, 2007 . As the contest comes to an end, all the listeners who chose the ‘key’ were invited for a big on-the-ground event where one lucky person whose key opens the door won the flat.
Expressing his excitement, the lucky winner Deepak Kumar commented, “I happened to listen about this unique initiative on Red FM Delhi and decided to give it a try. I am delighted to participate because through this unique contest I have won a beautiful house in one of the most beautiful locations.”
Commenting on this initiative, Red FM station head Delhi Akash Verma said, “We have received tremendous response from the listeners across Delhi for the contest. I am overwhelmed by the listener’s response and it feels special to bring a smile on their faces.”
All the winners of the Flat Kar De on-air contests, who had opted to get the key to the flat, were present on this occasion. Red FM RJs Nitin and Swati invited all the winners to the stage to pick one key each from the box and to try and open the lock. Finally, Deepak Kumar opened the lock and was the lucky winner of the contest.
