Shemaroo launches music of animation film

MUMBAI: Shemaroo Entertainment has launched the music of its first kids’ 3D CGI animation film called Bal Ganesh. The music for the movie has been composed by Shamir Tandon (of Page 3, Traffic Signal and Corporate fame).


The songs have been sung by Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Sudesh Bhonsle and Siddhant Bhonsle (Sudesh Bhonsle’s son).


Some of participants of the Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge like Amaanat, Aneek, Nirupama, Junaid, Mauli, Sumedha and the Zee Lil Champs – Sanchita, Sameer, Pavni along with Raj Pandit have also lent their voice to songs in the movie.


The launch was attended by lyricist Sameer, Abhay Deol, E Niwas, Shivam Nair and Ashok Pandit amongst others.


Bal Ganesh, the 3D animation film by Shemaroo Entertainment has been created in association with Astute Media Vision. It has a total of seven numbers. The Mangeshkar sisters – Asha and Usha – have come together to sing after three decades for Bal Ganesh.


Shemaroo Entertainment vice president animation division Smita Maroo said, “We are thrilled to introduce to the world the music of Bal Ganesh. We are certain that the album is sure to be appreciated by all age groups. Lord Ganesh of course has universal appeal and respect, and we believe that songs sung in honor of him, by such talented top artists, make them all that more special.”
