MUMBAI: After taking legal action against channels like Mee Marathi, Asianet and VOI, Super Cassettes Industries (T-Series) has once again moved the Delhi High Court against Information TV Pvt. Ltd.
Information TV runs and operates the India News Channel. A notice was sent to India News Channel to stop using T-Series songs and copyright works for programming their contents. However, when India News Channel did not take license and continued to use T-Series copyright works, T-Series moved court.
Shiv Narayan Dhingra of Delhi High Court heard the arguments at length and issued notice to India News Channel and also granted an interim-injunction against restraining India News Channel from broadcasting and telecasting T-Series contents in any manner till the next date 21 July, 2009.
